Sublaxmi is weaving their table cloths ready to be block printed by the Anoothi Women and is now able to support her family and put her children through school with her earnings.

FIELD-ISSUE Hard Cologne is an all natural fragrance made using all natural ingredients and packaged in 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.

Their design philosophy of simple, natural and harm free products equally applies to our range of triple scented diffuser reeds. The reed diffuser uses essential oils mixed with a special, non-toxic base (carrier oil). The diffuser reeds or sticks look familiar to bamboo except the best performing reed are made from rattan, a natural plant material. They contain many tiny channels or holes that travel the full length.

The White Wizard is a beautifully distinguished handmade ceramic pot that is covered in the markings of wisdom! They also have a drainage hole to improve airflow to your plants roots and a saucer to keep your furniture safe....wise!

Native to the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico down to Panama their big glossy-green, swiss cheese like leaves will add a sculptural element whilst also bringing those jungle vibes to any room.

Add a Rhipsalis Horrida

This amazing member of the Jungle Cactus group produces a mess of thick multi-branched stems that are reddish green at the tips and sage green along the stem with bristly reddish-brown to white hairs.

This crazy little dude is native to Madagascar. As it matures it will start to branch from the tips of the stems as well as the base. A great option for adding some chilled out vibes to any room that gets bright indirect light.

Add a Madagascar Palm

Endemic to the spiny forests of Madagascar, these super easy to care for spiky succulents have a crown of glossy green leaves. When they mature they will produce clusters of beautifully fragrant Frangipani-like flowers through the summer.

This is the perfect plant if your after something really cool and unusual - a real WTF is that plant! The best thing is you basically don't have to water it through winter.

This allows you to leave the plant and pot in their beautiful packaging to give to a loved one on Christmas day. In most cases, plants will remain perfectly healthy in their packaging until Christmas day. Just make sure you store them indoors and away from the sun. Their packaging is also designed in such a way that you will also be able to check on them and give them a splash of water if they look like they need it.

Please do not repot your plant until you are certain you want to keep it. Greenhouse Co cannot accept returns for plants removed from the plastic pot it arrived in. Thankfully, almost all their plants are immediately loved by their owners and they have had zero returns to date.

Sustainability and minimising waste are important to Greenhouse Co -  which is why they have designed fully recycle-able, plastic free packaging. Each plant is delivered in a reusable plastic pot (so that it can be easily lifted out for watering and rehomed when it grows) and recyclable packaging, including coir fibre (an already-recycled product that is 100% compostable) and calico bags.

SWISS CHEESE PLANT

Watering

Wait until the top 2-3cm centimetres of soil in the pot has dried out before watering heavily. Water less in in the cooler months to replicate the tropical dry season. These guys are pretty tolerant if you miss a watering or two but you will see noticeable increases in growth during the summer months if you remember to water regularly.

Position

Bright indirect light and a humid position is what these guys love. They are pretty tolerant of cooler temperatures but if you get frosts in your area make sure they stay inside over winter.

Managing growth

They will arrive to your door at about 40cm tall but this is a fast growing plant that will continue to produce larger and larger leaves as they mature. They will need repotting approximately every two years.

RHIPSALIS HORRIDA

Watering

Water when the top 2-3cm of soil in the pot dries out during the Spring and Summer months. Water much less during Autumn and Winter. Never allow these guys to stand in water as they will rot.

Position

Likes bright indirect light and humidity but will also handle a bit of shade. Great for a brightly lit kitchen.

Managing growth

These little guys will have stems that are 15-20cm long when they arrive at your door. Their beautiful dreadlock-like foliage can get over half a metre long making it a real show stopper when displayed on a high shelf!

MADAGASCAR PALM

Watering

Through the warmer months (whilst it has leaves) water as you would most indoor plants - when the 2-3cm of soil in the pot dries out. In the cooler months water very little or not at all.

Location

Loves bright direct light so near a westerly or south facing window or balcony is great.

Managing growth

These guys are currently about 20cm tall but over time will grow into a beautifully sculptural small tree with a bulbous pachycaudal (water holding) stem.

First wash: soak in cold water for 24 hours with 1 cup of white vinegar and a cup of bicarb soda, then allow to drip dry.

As organic cotton is not absorbent initially, soaking before washing can help speed up the process of 'breaking-in' the cotton, allowing it to become absorbent more quickly.

When soaking for the first time, please ensure the towel is completely saturated with water, using your hands to work the water into the fibres if necessary. Please note that the towels may need pre-soaking and washing three or four times before becoming fully absorbent.

They require a bit of work initially but it is worth it to have beautifully sustainable cotton bath mats that will last and last.

The Woohoo is a beautiful fun and cheeky planter, handmade by master ceramicist, Mark Gambino. Woohoo is deep blue/green on top with a bare bum!

The Woohoo has no drainage hole so you can be sure that your furniture will stay safe.

Add a Mistletoe Fig

This is a compact little fig from South East Asia which has spoon shaped, leathery green leaves. In the wild they grow as an understory plant in the lowland and mountains, at elevations up to 3200m. As such they are quite tolerant of cold temperatures.

They usually grow as an epiphyte (on trees) but sometimes are also found on sandy shores and rocky mountain tops. They produce handsome little green fruits in pairs through summer and autumn.

A seriously easy plant to grow anywhere in the home!

Add a Ponytail Palm

An unusual looking member of the Asparagaceae family. Yep you guessed it, it's a relative of Asparagus! These guys are way more appealing without burnt butter though!

Ponytail Palms are native to eastern Mexico. They are popular because of their mess of droopy leaves that somewhat resemble a pony tail, hence their common name. They also produce a large water storage bulb, also known as a caudex, at the base of their trunk making them super tough!

Great for anywhere that gets bright light, even full sun, like that window sill that keeps cooking your Philodendrons!

Add a Watermelon Peperomia

A South American native, it's fairly obvious how this outstanding plant got the name Watermelon Peperomia! Even the leaf stems are watermelon red to match the watermelon rind pattern of the leaves themselves!

Their compact habit and striking foliage make them an excellent desk plant for any office with a bit of natural light. As they can use artificial light more than most plants they're also great for those places that get a bit less light like a bathroom.

Water when the top few centimetres of soil in the pot has dried out, usually once every 1-2 weeks. These guys require good drainage so never allow them to stand in water.

Location

They perform well in bright indirect light but will also thrive in full sun so once they get a bit big for inside they can make an excellent balcony plant. They are also quite salt tolerant making them great for coastal gardens or balconies.

Managing growth

Plants are approximately 60cm tall when delivered but may grow to 2m tall indoors and much larger outdoors. These awesome plants are also suitable for bonsai if you want to keep them miniature!

PONYTAIL PALM

Watering

Water when the top 2-3cm of soil in the pot dries out through the warmer months. In winter water once a month or less. Overwatering is about the only way to kill these lovely ladies.

Position

These will happily grow in full sun, so when growing them indoors they need lots of bright light. Close to a north facing window is great so they get strong light for most of the day.

Managing growth

They are currently about 50cm tall with a caudex (bulb) of approximately 7cm across. If grown indoors they are likely to reach a maximum of 1.2m. If planted in the garden they may grow to about 3m.

WATERMELON PEPEROMIA

Watering

Water when the top 2-3cm of soil in the pot dries out, water less in winter. Very easy to care for plants!

Position

These babies will grow happily in bright indirect light but the patterning on the foliage will be most striking when they are given just a little bit of shade.

Managing growth

They are currently approximately 10 -15 cm tall but will get to about 20x20 cm. They are little desk-sized pocket rockets!
