While they aren’t technically classified as gold-filled under US/AU standards (which require a thicker layer of gold), they’re still a high-quality bonded option — offering far greater durability and a longer-lasting finish than standard plating.

  14K gold-filled is a high-quality, durable material made by bonding a thick layer of 14K gold to a base metal core (brass). It contains 100 times more gold than gold-plated jewellery, making it far more resistant to tarnish, wear, and fading. Gold-filled pieces can last for years, even with daily wear, and are a great alternative to solid gold at a more affordable price.

  J By Design jewellery is crafted from high-quality materials and designed for everyday wear. However, due to their delicate nature, they should be handled with care.
  
  We recommend removing your pieces before showering or swimming and minimising contact with chemicals such as perfumes and creams.
