Alice Saunders, founder of Forestbound, began by creating a line of carryalls using found and salvaged textiles in hopes of bringing a piece of history back into the spotlight with every new item she creates.

Her one of a kind weekenders like this custom carryall which was loving recreated using a salvaged US Navy sea bag from a WWII era are all deconstructed, redesigned, cut, sewn and shipped from her studio in Massachusetts.⠀

Each custom piece honours the past, but is designed for future adventures and incorporates: salvaged canvas; a cotton canvas lining; leather bottom, handles and buckle straps with durable metal hardware; metal feet on the base; a water-resistant fiberboard interior bottom panel; a light-weight aluminium frame to give the bag structure; wide opening at the top; and secure closure. Plus store essential small items in the large interior pocket.
