MINIMAL WASTE | GIVES BACK
Every year, over two billion plastic pens are sold all around the world, with thousands of tonnes of plastic waste ending up in landfill, oceans and even our food.
To combat this issue, The Earth Pen is designed to use a whopping 85% less plastic than traditional pens. The paper used is from a Forest Stewardship Council certified factory and the majority of their paper used is recycled.
The very small percentage of plastic Eco Pen Club use in their pens is easily recyclable. On top of that, they plant an entire tree for every order and offset more carbon than they emit.
The ink Eco Pen Club use in their pens and the ink they use to print on the kraft paper is non-toxic and water-based. This soy-based ink has little to no traces of petroleum in so it’s very easy to separate during the recycling process.

About The Brand
Every year, over two billion plastic pens are sold all around the world, with thousands of tonnes of plastic waste ending up in landfill, oceans and even our food. To combat this issue, self-confessed stationery nerds Lewis and Tristan decided to join forces and find a compostable solution to our plastic consumption.
Eco Pen Club provides eco-friendly pens, notebooks and cards for the eco-conscious individual. Every eco pen contains up to 85% less plastic than a traditional pen and is made with sustainable paper materials and recyclable plastic, using water and soy-based inks. Pair your pens with an A5 notebook made in Australia with recycled paper sourced from FSC-certified forests. Finally, why not add a lovely card on top? Eco Pen’s cards are made with 100% recycled paper, come in a compostable bio-based film and manufactured by an FSC-approved factory.
A sustainable stationery dream, Eco Pen Club carbon offsets their employees in partnership with Ecologi to ensure they stay completely carbon neutral. They have also partnered with One Tree Planted to donate an entire tree for every order!

Eco Pen Club's pens are made with compostable and easily recyclable materials, which can go into household recycling. Their pens will also write better and last longer.
Eco Pen Club's pens are packaged entirely plastic-free and in the most eco-friendly way:
- Their envelopes are made from recycled paper
- The tape they use is adhesive kraft paper
- All marketing materials are printed on recycled paper
- The pens are packed in a custom-printed linen bag (it’s one of the most sustainable materials)
- For the majority of their orders, they send through Sendle, who are carbon-neutral
- All ink they use is soy-based
Eco Pen Club has partnered with One Tree Planted to help with reforestation efforts for the Australian bushfires. Every month, they take count of how many orders and donate the equivalent in USD. So if they have 500 orders, that’s 500 trees planted!
