SUSTAINABLE | MINIMAL WASTE | NATURAL
Philodendron Imperial Green is a cultivar of Philodendron Erubescens which originated from Columbia. Its name comes from its large glossy green leaves.
This plant is perfect for removing harmful toxins such as Benzene from the air. Perfect for the bedroom!
**NOTE: Currently only able to ship to Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia.
Philodendron Imperial Green is what is known as a 'self-heading' Philodendron variety. This means it has leaves that are spaced so closely on the stem that they are not visible until they are much older or until the lower leaves begin to naturally fall off. This makes it unique from most other philodendrons which are distinctly vine-like.
These varieties make awesome indoor plants due to their abundance of beautiful foliage and stiff stems which allow them to remain upright for a number of years, unlike vining types which require support to remain upright.
These plants are shipped in a 1.5L nursery pot that is wrapped in a calico bag to keep the soil in during transport.
**Plant only. Pots sold separately.
About The Brand
There’s something blissful about filling your home with plants and greenery. Not only are house plants a bright spot of colour in the home, but they also improve mental health, giving us the opportunity to take a step back and smell the roses.
Greenhouse Co is dedicated to bringing the wilderness indoors with luscious plants in gorgeous ceramic pots. For Josh, the creator of Greenhouse Co and a horticulturist himself, having plants in your home is a great way to maintain a connection to nature, especially if you live in an apartment in the city.
Once you’ve chosen your perfect plant companion, it will be lovingly popped in a reusable plastic pot (so that it can be easily lifted out for watering and rehomed when it grows), wrapped in a calico bag, and tied into cleverly designed recyclable cardboard packaging that will help it stay upright on its journey.

SUSTAINABLE + MINIMAL WASTE
Sustainability and minimising waste are important to Greenhouse Co - which is why they have designed fully recycle-able, plastic-free packaging. Each plant is delivered in a reusable plastic pot (so that it can be easily lifted out for watering and rehomed when it grows) and recyclable packaging, including coir fibre (an already-recycled product that is 100% compostable) and calico bags.
Wait until the top 2-3cm centimetres of soil in the pot has dried out before watering heavily.
Bright indirect light and a humid position is great for these guys. For example, an East or North facing window in your kitchen. They'll handle a bit less light though, just give them a bit less water.
Currently about 40cm tall but may get up to 75cm tall when mature making them a striking feature in the home.
GREETING YOUR PHILODENDRON IMPERIAL GREEN
When you receive your plant, open up the packaging, cut the string, carefully remove it from the insert (or cut the insert and pull it out the front) and of course, give it a really good water.
