About The Brand
Currently in India, there are over 600,000 cooperatives with 240 million members where producers are trapped in exploitative cycles of poverty. Many of these craftsmen are women who are working to support their families but only receiving a fraction of the profits.
Cloth and Co. work with these women at a grass-roots level to create high-quality, hand-crafted products that help them achieve financial independence while preserving traditional craft techniques.
Every item in their collection is made from 100% natural materials and is fully biodegradable - allowing them to be recycled, repurposed or decomposed.

Cloth & Co.'s gorgeous linen scarves play an important role in their mission to preserve artisan crafts.
They have been hand-loomed in a small village in West Bengal providing the opportunity for the next generation to continue the family tradition of weaving.
Cloth & Co. are currently providing ongoing work for 8 young weavers, who have been trained in weaving specifically for the production of their scarves and as they increase their orders, they will continue to provide opportunities for young weavers to learn these skills.
They think this is really special and they hope you do too.
SUSTAINABLE + NATURAL
Cloth & Co.'s products are timeless and designed to last. They believe one of the greatest impacts they can have is to ensure you can wear their pieces for years, not weeks. They source the highest quality materials that are 100% natural. Linen is made from flax, the stalk is cultivated for its fibre. Flax grows naturally and requires less water and fewer pesticides than most other natural fibres. Because flax is a natural fibre it is completely recyclable and biodegradable. Flax is gentle on the land and is easy to incorporate into modern crop rotations, preventing soil degradation.
Cloth & Co are passionate about making a difference and partner with women’s cooperatives, artisan communities and small ethical factories where people are treated with respect, working in dignified conditions and all stages in the production process are independently certified from farm to stitch. They provide skills training, sustainable employment and a living wage to all of their artisans.
Cloth & Co. plant a tree with every purchase, through the Eden Forest Regeneration Project so thank you for helping regrow our beautiful forests.
