Values

ARTISAN
Cloth & Co's beautiful linen scarves have been produced entirely by hand by a small group of women artisans in Nepal as part of a sustainability initiative. Their women have been trained in spinning and natural dyeing techniques working with some of the finest natural fibres. Not only will your beautiful hand loomed scarf be an heirloom piece, your purchase is supporting sustainable development, ethical labour practices and above all a superior product - the ultimate in ethical, sustainable luxury.

SUSTAINABLE
Cloth & Co.'s products are timeless and designed to last. They believe one of the greatest impacts they can have is to ensure you can wear their pieces for years, not weeks. They source the highest quality materials that are 100% natural. Linen is made from flax, the stalk is cultivated for its fibre. Flax grows naturally and requires less water and fewer pesticides than most other natural fibres. Because flax is a natural fibre it is completely recyclable and biodegradable. Flax is gentle on the land and is easy to incorporate into modern crop rotations, preventing soil degradation.

ETHICAL
Cloth & Co. are passionate about making a difference and partner with women’s cooperatives, artisan communities and small ethical factories where people are treated with respect, working in dignified conditions and all stages in the production process are independently certified from farm to stitch. They provide skills training, sustainable employment and a living wage to all of their artisans.

Care

This is a beautiful handcrafted product so we ask that you care for it accordingly. Cloth & Co don’t use chemical detergents, they recommend a gentle wool wash. Please do not dry in direct sunlight.
